While the Program has significant experience with fundraising, having raised $54,207 in 2013 and $65,265 in 2014 to finance the para-rowers team trips to Boston USA, to compete in the Head of the Charles Regatta, ongoing funding will be needed to expand the Program, buying additional equipment and providing accessible facilities.
The Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF) was established by the Australian Government to assist organisations in raising funds through donations for the development of sport in Australia.
Visit https://asf.org.au/projects/balmain-para-rowing-program-incorporated/ for more information and to make a tax deductible donation to the Program.
A project titled ‘Balmain Para-Rowing Program’ has been registered with the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd to assist us in raising the funds to support the program. Through this partnership with ASF, donations, either in money or goods (eg. rowing scull, oars, tinny), are tax deductible. This is a great way to contribute to the development of sport, the expansion of the program and receive a tax deduction for your donation.
Any contribution is valued, whatever the amount and the ASF will issue official tax receipts for any donation $2 and over to substantiate your taxation claim.
Visit https://asf.org.au/projects/balmain-para-rowing-program-incorporated/ to make a tax deductible donation or contact Anne Craig at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss how you can help the Program.
We acknowledge the continuing support of Rowing NSW. Rowing NSW has been very supportive of the Program since its inception, providing para rowing sculls and oars on an ongoing loan basis. A number of other supporters have donated para-rowing sculls and equipment to the Program.
